PATTERNS & SELF-SABOTAGE

We all carry patterns. Some we chose consciously, some were handed to us, and some we don’t even realize are there.

These patterns shape the way we think, act, and experience life—sometimes helping us move forward, and sometimes holding us back in cycles of self-sabotage.

The driving force behind my work, this page, and my vision for the future is the illumination of these conditioned patterns that shape our reality.

Because I’ve seen firsthand that when we begin to free ourselves from the weight of old conditioning, life feels lighter. We act with more freedom. We move through our days with a sense of clarity and fulfillment that once felt out of reach.

The patterns run deep, but no matter where someone starts, the benefits show up quickly with consistency.

Some patterns are small but persistent—unconscious reactions to bad news, frustration when things don’t go as planned, or tension in the body when we hear what someone has said behind our back.

These reactions may seem automatic, but they come from deeper emotional imprints. Often, they are a reflection of what drives self-sabotage and even perpetuate it, keeping us stuck in repetitive emotional loops that drain our energy.

Other patterns show up in the way we think—defaulting to negativity, feeling like things won’t work out, or resisting change even when we want it.

These patterns can feel so ingrained that shifting them seems impossible. But they’re also the most common forms of self-sabotage—subtle ways we unconsciously keep ourselves stuck, even when we desire something different.

But when we step back and approach life with a new foundation, when we understand why these patterns exist and how to realign our beliefs, thoughts, and actions, we begin to generate more energy instead of feeling drained by old cycles. Life starts to feel considerably lighter, clearer, and more free.

This is the work—seeing the patterns that shape us so we can transform from the roots.

My Mission

My mission is to help those who resonate with my message find their unique liberation—through this work that was known by so many greats before us and conditioned out of us by society.

Every comment, every like, every share, every discovery call, and every session with a client contributes to the expansion of my ability to help more people. It’s all part of something bigger.

On my journey, I felt a gap between traditional self-help narratives and real-world results. So I began forging my own path—taking what resonated from powerful teachers before me and leaving what didn’t. Connecting the dots as I went, I was determined to transform my life.

Through my own experience, the deep work I do with my clients, the conversations with podcast guests, and the countless books and insights I continue to digest, my intention is to make self-development achievable—for anyone who has even a modicum of autonomy over the direction of their thoughts.

I will continue to learn, grow, implement, and refine for the rest of my life. Because this work provides liberation, resilience, happiness, and mental fortitude—and it allows me to help more and more people. And when we help people, we feel good.

That’s the mission. Help ourselves, so we can help our world. One person at a time.

If you’re someone like a past version of me—feeling stagnant, unfulfilled, lacking motivation, disconnected from meaningful relationships, or caught in your own unique cycle of self-sabotage—this space is for you.

Because I am you.

Thank you for being here.

ABOUT PHIL

I’m a mindset coach passionate about helping individuals achieve their goals through deep introspection and intentional growth, inspired by my own experiences with struggles related to personal fulfillment and emotional disconnect.

Growing up in North Georgia, just outside of Atlanta, I had everything I needed materially. Yet, a deeper void lingered within my subconscious due to a lack of genuine connection with my father, who was a narcissist and, by definition, a sociopath. His complex nature left me harboring deep resentment for many years—a realization that emerged as I began exploring my unconscious mind.

This emotional disconnect significantly impacted my well-being, leading to decades of unhealthy coping mechanisms, both mentally and physically. It reached a boiling point during a period coinciding with the passing of friends and family members. These hardships ignited a deep desire to liberate myself from the feelings that weighed me down daily and fueled my commitment to my rewiring journey.

In my mid-30s, after moving to Florida and embarking on a period of soul-searching, I found solace in self-help podcasts. Long drives for work transformed into opportunities to learn from a wide spectrum of speakers and provided time for deeper reflection, sparking my personal development journey.

Although maintaining consistency with shifts in mindset and action was challenging at first, this period gradually led me to question the traditional notions of success imposed by my father and societal expectations. I realized my path needed to focus on personal fulfillment rather than unconsciously seeking external validation.

When I began documenting my journey on YouTube, it initially served as an accountability tool for quitting cannabis. At that time, I believed cannabis was the problem. However, through my continued introspection and an expanded understanding of cannabis and consciousness, I came to realize that cannabis wasn’t the issue—it was merely part of my larger process of growth and self-discovery. This new chapter of documenting my journey ignited a passion for video creation and sharing personal growth insights.

I fully committed to my development by enlisting a coach, marking the beginning of profound transformation and helping me discover my true calling in coaching. As I engaged deeply with the internal work of rewiring my mind, I experienced remarkable shifts in awareness. Through disciplined practice and introspection, I learned firsthand the immense power of subconscious beliefs and their influence on our behaviors and experiences.

True transformation often requires a commitment to addressing buried emotions and breaking free from self-sabotage patterns inherited from our historical and present environments. Whether overcoming unhealthy relationships with substances or escaping cycles of dissatisfaction, lasting change begins with acknowledging and rewiring our subconscious minds.

As I continue to embrace my journey as a coach, I remain committed to the philosophy that a wise teacher is always a perpetual student, ensuring continuous growth for both myself and my clients.
